Christmas Schedule: All Services Online Only - please see Fr. Kevin's letter about online worship below this schedule.
Join in on Zoom at 8:00 p.m. for Christmas Eve - have a candle for the start of service. Zoom participants will be able to see each other (and their candlelights) and to follow along in a special way. We hope this worship format will provide a space for fellowship, connection, and a felt sense of Christ's presence among us, on this holy day when we are not able to be together in person.
Please email Father Kevin, or our parish admin. Sara, directly, for Zoom info. A link to access the meeting was also included in the Dec. 16th All Saints' email newsletter.
Service Schedule for December:
All services are available on Facebook and YouTube. When possible, we will live stream the service. When this is not possible, a pre-recorded service will premiere. You do not need a Facebook or YouTube account to view the services.
Dec. 20th: Fourth Sunday of Advent: 10:30 a.m.
Dec. 24th: Christmas Eve: 8:00 p.m. - ALSO ON ZOOM
Dec. 25th: Christmas Day: 8:00 a.m.
Dec. 27th: First Sunday after Christmas: 10:30 a.m.
WORSHIP RETURNS TO ONLINE ONLY FOR ADVENT AND CHRISTMASTIDE
A note from Father Kevin:
Greetings, All Saints' family,
It has been wonderful to be able to worship in person with many of you over the last several months, and it sure felt good to be able to finally worship in our beautiful building again. I remember being given the tour of the facilities, and when I walked into the sanctuary audibly saying, "wow." It is, by far, the most beautiful place I have ever served!
With all of that said, I think it is time to take a step back. While there is finally hope on the horizon of this pandemic, it appears that the proverbial darkness before the dawn is upon us. Infection rates are surging again in Westchester, with the towns surrounding us being some of the worst hit areas. So…
…we will be worshipping online through Advent and Christmastide.
This Sunday will be recorded and available on our Facebook page at 10:30 on Sunday. It will also be available on our YouTube channel. Next week I hope to have everybody ready to stream our service live (at 10:30) again.
I know it is terribly frustrating and challenging to spend this time in isolation. The irony of it all is that Advent is a time of searching, of actively waiting for an arrival, or maybe more accurately, THE arrival. So perhaps this year, we can take this opportunity to lean in a bit. As you will hear in my sermon this week, implicit in that waiting and searching is preparation. So, I'd like to ask you to try out something during this time. What if we committed to praying all or part of the daily office together? Even if you can't do all four times, it is a great way to start and/or end your day.
There are a lot of great resources out there to aid you in praying the daily office. First is the Book of Common Prayer. Check out page 136 for instructions and a basic daily outline. If you want a little more comprehensive and accessible daily guide check out Phyllis Tickle's four-book set, Divine Hours. This is the resource that I have used off and on for many years. Here is a link to the Autumn/Winter edition http://tiny.cc/0ry5tz. Lastly, we Episcopalians have a great online source through Forward Movement that produces our Forward Day by Day. Go to their website at https://prayer.forwardmovement.org and click on the link that says, "pray the daily office" on the page's left side.
The 2020-2021 Stewardship Campaign is underway. This year, we have asked some parishioners to share short video reflections about giving. Please check out our YouTube channel to see these reflections.
Prayer List Updates
The names on the prayer list are published in the Sunday bulletin and the weekly email. Names are kept on the list for one month.

Staying Connected During Shutdown: What's Going On at All Saints' these days?
The best way to stay connected is through the All Saints' email list. Click here to sign up.
We will let you know of important updates and changes to our service schedule. We send a weekly email on Wednesday with worship resources, information about upcoming events, and more.
For our parishioners who have limited access to email/internet, or who have difficulty engaging with the online format, we will send print copies of sermons, announcements, devotionals and other materials. Please contact Sara in the office to request this.
Many of our ministries are continuing to meet virtually, including choir, Women's Bible Study, book group, and REPAIR. If you would like to be a part of any of these, if you would like to submit a reflection to the newsletter, or if you have other ideas or programs that you think might be of interest to our community, please get in touch with us.
